Why is it so trendy these days that nearly all New Black police Officers are placed in safe White suburban districts while most New White police Officers are placed in the rougher Black districts ? I understand diversity and see benefits but when You see like in Ferguson and other places the Black Community's outcry that there aren't enough Black Officers present then that should overcome the diversity issue to right the wrong. I see this issue in a lot of places .

For all his personal drama and instability, and for all his non-conservative views on a host of issues, I have to admit that Giuliani has a knack for speaking certain realities about race/crime/violence in America.

I don't think it's a trendy thing... but I would think that most newly minted officers are put in suburban districts to ease them into the job at hand?

Easy solution if leftist black leaders think cops are out to kill blacks.

It varies from agency to agency but typically you see new employees put in the busier areas because there is no better training than live experience. Add to that as a general rule public safety officials as they get older realize that they are getting paid the exact same if they are in an area that runs fewer calls as they are in an area that runs a bunch of calls and that means that is where the openings are.

Typically you come to this realization concerning the pay being the same about the time the idealistic mindset you started your career with has been crushed by the fact that the neither the general public nor the people higher up your chain of command appreciate the job you are doing and that when the chips are down the only people you can really count on is the brothers and sisters you have on the job.

I am sure with all the spin room's experts, that SOMEONE can explain (or maybe I missed the post) why there is so much black on black crime
