It appears Dirty is continuing #spatterchatter into this week on the UR boards...then again, isn't every week #spatterchatter?

This is particularly amusing. After Spideroo put it out there that the RU recruits were probably lost after being seated near the Victors bench:

Quote:FR, get your facts before you go off on some BS. The recruits are seated no where near visitors seating

Funny, I watched the game twice, both late Saturday night and early Sunday morning. It appeared to me that "visitors seating" would work for 85% of the entire place. Either that or "home seating" dressed up as empty chairs. 03-lmfao Gotta love some FRS...

The recruits were actually sitting right next to section 109, which was where I was and was all JMU. BTW, NO ONE said a word to the any of those kids! My 10 y/o nephew and I were right on the aisle next to them...

Nothing needed to be said... The play on the field and final score spoke volumes... No need to state the obvious! 04-rock

I was in that section also. As I posted somewhere, a recruits father came up to me and commented on the "High School" feel of the bread box compared to BFS

PS. yes I was the loud one that the Po-Po came to talk to after an attendent fingered my 12 year old son as a RU T-shirt returner.

RE: WHERE IS THE CHATTER?
Saw this on their boards in the 'rant' thread about them blowing up after the loss.

Quote:I hate using that word but it really was about as embarrassed as I've been as a Richmond football fan in a long time, if ever.

Tell me that isn't satisfying.

Very satisfying, particularly after hearing that JMU hasn't faced an offense like RU all season. Guess what, we hadn't!! And look at the results!!

I love squashing ticks. My father emailed me this weekend and said, "I love when we beat RU and Billy & Broad in the same year." He didn't even go to JMU.

I don't know how you guys feel, but the boards are so unreadable these days. So many threads to go through, so little time. Winning games is the only thing that matters. Imagine if Men's Hoops starts doing well!

I believe MB has now put us on the right track and we will see some consistently good teams in the near future. I just hope this year is the beginning.

A little Spatter Butt Hurt. Ask your UR boss if he'll be taking Friday off to prepare for their playoff play-in game.

Old Spatter Dude posted some highlight vids on youtube late this week. The roar from the JMU crowd on big plays is impressive. Dukes owned the breadbox.

RE: WHERE IS THE CHATTER?
True Story:

Last night I was at Peter Chang's (Not PF) in Short Pump (if you haven't, goodness gracious get there soon its the best Chinese on the east coast). These two RU bros walk in and sit at a table for 4 but only the 2 of them. They sat across from each other. I knew they were RU bros because the one dude had a RU Polo on and the other guy had a LXA rush shirt on.

Anyways, the RU Polo guy starts talking about the playoffs. At this point I'm completely ignoring my family and fiance because I'm trying so hard to eavesdrop.

The RU Polo guys says, and I quote. "Liberty is playing JMU. JMU DESTROYED us two weeks ago. It was the most humiliating game. They beat us by like 50. They're playing out of their mind right now and are pretty much the team to beat. They're unstoppable."

It was so, so, so rewarding.

Anyways, my brother and law and I both pulled on our JMU sweatshirts even though it wasn't cold. Then we went over and sat down on either side of their table without saying a word.

"GO!"

"DUKES!"

"GO!"

"DUKES!"

Then we got up and walked out without saying a word.

(Okay the go dukes part didn't happen but still.)
