Where'd you read that? And why does it bother you that your opponent would want to win the game? Would you expect less?

He told ULL players "we'll take care of Georgia Southern for you."

Easier said than done.
He'll likely have a big day.

This game will not be a cake walk. If we don't come out and play a complete game then we will be sharing a title with ULL.

Not hard to have a big day when you average 66.7 yards per game.

I saw it... online in an interview with a UL player that stated "Rashon Caesar came up to me after the game and said, 'Don't worry we'll take care of Georgia Southern for ya'll'"

I'm not "bothered," I simply stated that GS students would be in his ear for openly declaring that they would "take care of us" for Louisiana. Students love to give opposing players hell for saying stuff like that out loud. It just is what it is. Adds some excitement to the student section of the game.

I was pointing it out because on several occasions in my history as a student we got into the head of players and coaches patrolling the sideline. This could be one of those opportunities.

Caesar has not been 100% for most of the season.

I think we will be playing in front of around 17k fans as well. So it won't be the loudest, but should still be sufficient. Need students to come back a day early and get loud.

The App State vs ULM was one of the best, most exciting games played at The Rock in many moons. Here's hoping the GaSo vs ULM is the same. It will be interesting to see the ULM defense against the GaSo offense.

RE: ULM at Georgia Southern discussion thread
I watched ULM vs. Texas A&M with great interest and was really rooting for ULM.

My impressions was that ULM is tough and knows how to play, but their overall team speed was lacking. They had chances to hit plays against A&M and just came up a little short. I was impressed with them though. If GS doesn't play great football Saturday they won't like the outcome. I think GS's team speed will be a big factor offensively. As usual turnovers and mistakes will decide the outcome.

Saturday is looking real nice... highs in the mid 60's, lows in the low 40's. Perfect football weather.

I think the smell of Statesboro is more worrisome. Is it the lowland bog smell? Is it the rancid waters of Eagle Creek? Is it the humidity from all the mouth breathing and FUPA sweat? No one knows, but it STINKS.

It is the smell of all the dead opponents buried at Paulson.

Should be a good game. ULM is thin personnel wise, but those guys never quit. Crazy defense for sure. If ULM's offense can show up it should be an interesting game, but GaSo should prevail

Good you've pinpointed it. Step two is washing it out.

Many App fans refer to GaSo as "The Stink."

But as long as you got my Tommy Boy reference, I respect you.

"Many" is a relative term I see. Keep going with it maybe it will catch on after another decade of trying. Yes I have seen that movie at least five times.
