Ratings say those are the top draws...so I would guess you are probably right. I expect the Georgia Southern non Saturday home game will be Texas State, and my hunch is that the ULL/Texas State game goes back to Saturday. ESPN puts GS/App and ULL/ASU on Tuesday and pushes them as the SBC's biggest rivalries.
Thursday Picks: NC State at USA (OOC) Texas State at GS Texas State at stAte, Troy at ULL, USA at Troy
Tuesday Picks: GS at App State, ULL at stAte
Thoughts: Just about One OOC game every year gets moved to Thursday just about for an ESPNU game. The only two real options this year are Missouri at stAte and NC State at USA. I don't think Missouri will want the Jonesboro games moved to a Thursday, as it would hurt their own fan support. NC State probably doesn't care. ESPN may opt to keep both on a Saturday, but that's something to think about.
Conference wise, Numbers showed that GS and App drew healthy ratings for its ESPNU game. Its a fierce rivalry and I still insist that the Thursday game was a Test to see how successful a TV game would be. My guess is they want it on a Tuesday next year. App hates sacrificing a weekend home game, but would do it for a major ESPN broadcast, provided they do not lose any other home game to midweek.
Troy, ULL, and Arkansas State are your other three big draws in the league. You can expect all on TV at least once, probably twice. I think the league tips USA/Troy again for a Thursday or Friday Night game, and puts Troy's trip to Cajun Field on a Thursday.
stAte gets the short end of the stick and gets to host two non Saturday home games. By the school's request, Texas State is placed in the middle of deer season since attendance would be down anyway.
