The programs are no better....look at what UL-L is doing to the belt and look at what Tech did to them.

What an awesome play by Tech.. We screwed up on that play..

Let's pretend it didn't happen. Dixon only averages about 8 yards per carry and we only score 41 points.

Dixon had two runs that accounted for 131 yards and 2 TDs. The cajuns gave up an 78 yard Td pass, 99 yard TD run, 60+ yard pass and a 32 yard TD run. Not to mention a pick 6. So roughly 270 yards of offense came on 4 plays.

Yes the game snowballed and definitely all the breaks went La Tech way, but yall did not dominate the game like you say you did.

Seriously - the game was 41-7 going into the 4th quarter?

In fact I can go over and sign on ESPN3 and watch USC versus California and East Carolina versus Cincinnatti right now. Even though they are on tv.

WHY did they put it on there when its on TV? Because SOME PEOPLE PREFER TO WATCH IT THERE.

There you go again jumping into something that no one asked for your opinion...

but since you gave it I will repeat what I said...

NO ONE buys a 70 inch TV and spends 1 to 4 thousand and going to choose watching a game streamed over a HDTV channel. And I will repeat just for you ...you are lying to yourself if you say you would chose a stream of your teams game over being able to watch that game on TV...

I know you're a little slow but we are talking about sending that streaming video out to your tv. Not sitting there watching while you are doing something else on the pc.

Louisiana Lafayette scored with less than 5 minutes left for their only points of the game. Blaming the loss on one player missing isn't very fair to the USA defense, which played very well down the stretch. It's also not fair to the USA offense, which scored 30 before halftime.

Well, for what it's worth, we played you guys with basically the same defense again this year. Don't know how much your offense changed from last year to this and it really doesn't matter to me.

Look, when we get our asses handed to us like LaTech did this year, I've got no problem admitting that we got throttled in all aspects of the game. However, anyone who follows the Cajun team closely will tell you that last year's Cajun team that played at S. Al was not the same team that had racked up 5 or 6 in a row before Broadway's injury. And I hope you're not trying to sell the idea that such an injury to a key player, the key player, has minimal effect on the rest of the team.

Again, you guys played with the hand that was dealt you and you won the game, congrats. But I still say it's a stretch to think that had the Cajuns rolled into town with a healthy Broadway that the final score would have looked the same.

You'll will have the opportunity to return the favor next year in Ruston. We will have the more experienced team and both of us will have new QB's. Don't forget that you'll gave us our only home loss in BB last season - hopefully we can get that one back this year. Anyway it would be interesting if we played again this year and probably be a better game. I really thought Holtz was clueless last season but he is really recruiting well and the stadium finally starting is helping some too. Good luck against Monroe 04-cheers

Dayum. You think that everyone thinks like you and if they say otherwise they are just lying to themselves? What the hell is that?

Why do they put USC and Cal on streaming when nobody would want to watch it there since it is on television? Are the people watching USC/CAL by streaming it all lying to themselves about how they want to watch it?

And yes...I have a right to state my opinion and respond on MY CONFERENCE'S BOARD when someone jumps in and tells ME that I am lying or deluding myself.

Where do you get off telling SBC fans that they can't respond to you on their own board?

You are a piece of work.

I would like to think that CUSA would stick with their 13, and even if they attempted to raid the Sun Belt, all members would stick together... but this is the real world.

What would be your best guess?

From what I've heard, a bunch of Sunbelt schools have inquired about the possibility of this happening. Georgia Southern wants in and they will probably get a look but at the end of the day my money would be on Louisiana and Texas State. Supposedly Akron and Toledo has shown some high interest as well.

This summer, when the US National Team was playing in the World Cup, between 3-5 million people watched the game on ESPN3, despite the fact it was on ESPN as well.

Obviously those people are all lying to themselves.

As for CUSA's interest in Texas State?...I think CUSA would have interest in Texas State for several reasons.

1. I find it hard to believe that CUSA would really want to add another Eastern school.
2. Austin sits in a nice location to promote rivalry with UTSA, Rice, UTEP, North Texas etc.
3. Facilities. You guys probably have the best or at least a top 3 stadium in the Sunbelt.
4. Enrollment. CUSA would be looking for schools that have around 20k or more enrollment.
5. Athletic Budget

Earlier in the season I saw several WKU fans on Twitter complaining about not having ESPN3 because the local ASN affiliate in whatever market they were in was carrying an infomercial.

I expect Fox to do something similar once they have more content.

The only game we had compliants was the MTSU game, but after this season, I suspect that game will be on ASN, or FS1 most years...

All other games have been on TV or CUSA digital Network and I would expect our number of football games to rise on ASN next season as we only had 1 on this year...

Football has been a little trickier in past seasons with a few games, but most have been watched on TV which is nice for a change....Also nice to be able to watch other conference teams play on actual TV, that is always good too..Looks like basketball will be even better this season with most of our games on TV...

but isn't worth the trouble hooking up that pc to the tv. Hey...I had a 13in TV as a kid and always enjoyed watching shows on the 25in. And if size didn't mater...

15-17in screen?

I watch games through my Apple TV on my 72" tv.

.

Of course you do but you're not switching channels during timeouts or watching two or three games switching back and forth and what the point of having that 72 inch when the picture is about as clear as watching the game drunk

No one is saying you can't do it but you would never choose to watch it that way if it was on HDTV

There's also another problem some of you are not addressing...

what happens if Little Johnny is gaming and the wife is on the PC and you are eating up bandwidth streaming games...

Like I said you are limited...very limited unlike watching a game on TV. Let me guess you are going to upgrade that internet connection to turbo boost for as little as $14 bucks a month! Oh wait...Fox Sports is only $13.

Invest 1000 to 3000 in a TV and then get the lowest quality picture by streaming. Makes sense to me. But that's really not my point...

if anyone is saying they would rather watch games on espn3 than TV you are lying to yourself

What sort of piss poor fan changes channels when their team is on. And while I though Arkansas had bad internet, if y'all can't watch a game clearly in HD on a large screen, get out of that backwardass state to civilization.

Yeah ESPN3 is a horrible liability. That's why I saw WKU fans early in the season complaining about not being able to watch the 'Topper on TV.

No one will ever watch ESPN3. That's why MLS got a huge increase in their TV rights in exchange for shutting down their online game distribution and moving it to ESPN3. Those idiots at ESPN are clueless.

The model is shifting. With HBO coming out with a non-cable subscription, it will only accelerate. If you don't have a Roku or Apple TV, what you get to watch on your TV will become more and more limited.
