I friggin hate TOLEDO.

Other than the championship game this is always the best game for the entire conference. after seeing how the d played today, NIU is going to win next week at home.

Tuck Foledo! I think this is the real MAC Championship this year. Sure, NIU has not been it's dominating self, but they are 7-2 - better than anyone else in the MAC. Granted our SOS is not awesome, but when is any MAC team's schedule impressive (and 7-2)? The boat rowers may have something to say in the end, but if for no other reason than Karma I see them crashing and burning (or sinking) by the end of the year - at least I hope so.

I am already fired up. Pat every player on the back this week and say " beat the crap out of them for me"
Can't wait until we kickoff to them as I will be yelling "kill them"

I hope it comes down to NIU/WMU determining the winner of the West. That COULD determine it.

Why? Despite NIU "playing wounded", Comparatively speaking in relation to yesteryear, and winning -- Toledo SHOULD be not that hard for you guys. Toledo's QB Woodside is going to be OUT. Their yet-again-another-backup is going to be playing. He played a bit at the end of the game yesterday and didn't look good at all.

So if you beat Toledo, and we beat @CMU (which is going to be Much tougher for us than you) -- and Toledo very possibly loses to BGSU due to their QB issue -- it'll come down to WMU/NIU in PJ-Fleck-Land of Kzoo!

Everybody calm down, Toledo is not a Rival Game, remember?

We may be playing back ups in several positions. We may have a coaching staff that leaves its fan base dazed and confused throughout much of the game. We may come in with one of the worst pass defenses in FBS. But, I expect this to be a dog fight. Both teams will establish the run, find success through the air, and I believe whoever holds the ball last, wins. Sadly, I think you guys will...

Toledo ran the stretch play pretty well on Tuesday. CMU killed us with that. Let's see if we can line up and stop that. Need OLB/CBs to get off blocks.

Yeah...I hope no team at this point would try and blame the results of a game on injuries at this point in the season...

I'm thankful NIU fans have resisted the urge to just say what if we had TLL (arguably our top offensive weapon coming into the year), Bass (arguably our best defender coming into the year) and Daniels (top 2 RB coming into the year) most of our games...

That's not how it works...everyone has to be ready to play.

Well, actually it's a special time in this "rivalry's" history. There now seems to be a growing number of NIU fans that hate NIU and Toledo equally.

I detest Toledo and always have. Love their fans on this board, however.

Are they playing the backup QB or I even heard it may be the 3rd string?

Their starter (Ely) is out for the year. Their backup (Woodside) is questionable.

Injuries don't matter. Toledo still is strong and still could beat us.
