If you have never heard Future, consider yourself very, very lucky. The best way I can think to describe his sound is "imagine if a deaf person tried to make sing song rap with the autotune cranked to 100". So, so bad.

If you want to know who he is, here is one of his newer songs with Kanye West. It is unbearable. I'm probably the only person on the planet who thinks more highly of Kanye then Kanye. That guy is a genius, he could record nails on a chalkboard and I would probably defend it, but this is un-defendable.

Odd beyond belief that Newnan, GA's Alan Jackson is #1 in NM, Athens' own REM is tops in Maine, GA-FL Line wins Ohio yet the state of Georgia gets...Future? Never heard of it, him, her, them.

Well I mean, they don't call him King George for nothing....

The title of the article/thread is misleading. It's really an artist who is liked more in that state than elsewhere. Like the biggest disproportionate following. Not just the #1 artist. Otherwise, it would probably like 10 artists over the entire country.

From the article it is "a map showing which artist enjoys the most outsized support in each state. To be clear, these aren't necessarily the most-listened-to bands in each state, but rather the bands that have unusually high support in each state"

Meh, maybe. Maybe not. Still doesnt change the fact that the headline of that article is really misleading

Granted I haven't heard of many of those acts, but NJ-Springstein, VA-Dave Matthews, and VT-Phish make the most sense to me.
