According to the owner they were told by direct tv today that they have the channel and will be able to show the game. I just double checked with him before I finished writing this response

NOTE: the UAB game will be on TV in the Iron City Grill which is adjacent to and NOT to be confused with the Venue which has the giant screen. Bama will be on that one.

The uab game will be shown on a video set up with a 156" screen. It's nine 52" TVs set up as one. Better than we are likely to get at any other place. The plus side of the grill is if you want you can buy cheap beer at the bar that's not available in the big room.

I got an email from them today that made it sound like there will be audio too. The only game being shown without audio is the crablegs one, probably because live music will be happening:

If you like fruit beers, be sure to try the Trim Tab Raspberry Berliner Weisse (if it is still available - it's a summer seasonal). It is the best local beer I've had here...but I like fruit beers. It's sour/tart but I love it.

Dont skip Cahaba Brewing, they have some good ones... their American Blonde & Ryezome Rye are both terrific.

Especially since all you are going to get from Good People and Avondale are bitter IPA's.

Cahaba and Trim Tab are my two go-to's because they actually do some outside-the-box things.

Or you can also get a coffee oatmeal stout from good people, or the saison or miss Fancy's trippel from avondale. There are more options than ipa's. Those are my favorite from those two.
