See this as ho-hum? GSU can go 0 and forever and GS folks will make it to this game. For all the slack that has occurred between our two schools in modern history. Theres no way Southern fans miss the opportunity to rub some dirt into this new wound.

See I think that is mostly internet fodder. I dont get that from Southern fans in the street. Also if this game is televised there will be a huge dropoff in attendance.

They're just being nice to your face. We all want to embarrass Georgia State.

It is possible he is a GaSou fan outside the state. Which I think he is. We have kids on campus from every state except ND I believe.

I didn't know what North Avenue was supposed to be known for, and I grew up near Atlanta.

I'm sorry. Is there a law about growing up in Ga saying that I must know what North Avenue is known for? I was never a tech fan growing up, so not sure why you feel this is such an anomaly?

Majority people learn it from UGA fans. They love referring to GT as the North Avenue Trade School but use it as a slur. In its early history GT acted much like a trade school and is located in part along North Avenue. I think GT sells shirts with that on it as well, so I guess they're fine with the joke.

I thought it was common knowledge as well. It is a phrase like ABAC North, Georgia Evening College, or Gnat Capital of America that you are either offended by or take pride in depending on who is saying it.

well I hated UGA growing up, and wasn't a GT fan, so I guess that's why I never heard it.

I think in the sense of North Avenue Trade School and Georgia Evening College its a part of Atlanta's history we can proud of and we dont have that much standing history left around here. I will be happy and sad when Kell Hall is torn down to open up to campus to more greenspace because it is part of that Georgia Evening College history.

I have to disagree, the demolition of Kell Hall is going to make GSU look 10 million times better. Whenever I walk through that building I get nauseous. Y'alls new Law building is shaping up nicely, just start to renovate that central portion of your campus over by Underground and maybe, just maybe, GSU can leave the list of America's Ugliest Campuses 07-coffee3

I love my "Evening School of Commerce" shirt that Pantherville made a couple of years ago. I'd wear a GEC one as well.

Didn't the University Store sell Teacher's College shirts one year, or a shirt that said Professors...or something to do with "The Culture"?

This was a long thread on PT and the majority especially those who took classes there both see the need for Kell to go but will be sad at the same time. Our yearbook "The Rampway" was named after that building.
