Who in the Sun Belt beats StAte?
Feel like StAte shouldn't be left out of this...

If I had to bet, I'd say none. But if I had to pick who has the best shot, it would be USA. Seems like the QB and Wr's are finally on the same page, and their offense looks potent.

Forgot to add a "wins out" option. My bad.

Yeah, we host App and go to TXST. We could lose any of them but the road games at ULL and TXST are my biggest concerns.

I believe with stAtes defense they will be favored here on out. But the 2 games that we expect robe real games is @ULL, @txst
We shall see A-state offense needs to improve although we won't see defenses like we have first 5 games here on out!

If we play a half game on offense like we have and Georgia State plays a full game. It could be this weekend.

I wanted to vote for the "We'll beat ourselves" option. That seems just as likely at this point.

I think both Texas State and South Alabama would be good candidates (50/50) to beat Arkansas State if they were playing at home. Playing both TXST and USA at ASU would give ASU more than enough edge to win. However, I think Louisiana has a good chance to beat ASU if they play up to their potential.

Odom is a DE that has just recently been moved in there for depth. We rotate a bunch of players on the DL, including a few freshmen. I think Rosser, the main guy, has been dinged up a little.
DC sounds excited when talking about Odom inside - I think maybe they try to use him more in there on passing situations.
DL has been a pleasant surprise for A-State this year - it was an area of considerable concern going into the season, having lost what little depth he had to the death of Markel Owens after Carrethers was drafted by the Chargers.

At times they do .
They also have a 224 de, and most think that one of their starting lbs is more like 200 than 214. They are also fast, mean and just nasty (their coach just says they are violent) and they are the best defense in the SBC. No other team is even close. To bar a phrase from one of their former coaches 'they will knock snot bubbles out of you". It is their speed that makes them special, and they never ever get tired. The other teams just raise the white flag at some point in the 2nd half.
If their qb ever decides to stop trying to help the other teams they are playing out, how much better they are than the rest of the SBC (well maybe I'll exclude GoSo )will be more evident. Their offense is actually more talented than their defense(see Malzahn, Freeze and Harsin were noted as offensive gurus, and this team is loaded with their players) .

We're very small up front on defense. But we're also extremely quick, and have simply outpaced several offensive lines.

stAte plays Texas State in San Marvelous, not in Arkansas.

We were cast aside from Mount Olympus some years ago, and are considered mortals, but we do maintain our God like strength.
Serious note...ignore Seminole Longhorn . He aggravates our own fans as much as he does other school fans.
