I can't process this...
Memphis FB won a big game on national television.
I seriously don't know how to process this. I am thrilled. What do fans of winning teams do? Talk crap? Pop collars? Celebratory shots?
I asked the GF. Told her I can't process this. She said… and I quote:
"In fairness, you're not smart enough to process much actually"
I've no argument for that :)
Just happy, happy, happy for my Tigers, the fans, and the team. They've earned this and we get to enjoy this.
Good, good, good times...

There's nothing to process. Only when you lose do you need to process.

RE: I can't process this...
I'm still up too. I expected to win close or lose close because of Cincy's offense but I didn't think we'd blow them out like that and honestly it could have been much much worse for them. We went up 27-7 and got a little conservative. When they scored it woke us back up and we scored a couple more and could have scored another. (Sportsmanship)
The turn around in such a short time is incredible. We're 3-2 with our only losses @ 2 top 10 teams. We are 3 wins away from being bowl eligible and 4 away from a WINNING SEASON!
I said our low end was 7-5 before Cincinnati, it is now 8-4. I am so proud of this team and coaching staff!

Nah, Geo she's pretty damn bright, fair more intelligent than me (low bar, but still). If she wanted to be an RA, she'd be fine. ,but she'd rather make actual money.
Hey, when do you start your AREs?

IDK... I'm in my first year of grad school. I am TA for Structures class, so I'm keeping my structures skills fresh.

You're an MArch3, right? Can start taking tests is a bit.
Glad to hear you are doing a TA gig, that is awesome for guys like us. Being an instructor makes you 100% at what you do. Nothing better than teaching to force you to be better...

Don't know what about the "3", but yes, I am going for my MArch. TENN allows you to take the ARE if you are "pursuing your NAAB accredited degree." So I could start now if I had time to study. Unfortunately, The University of Memphis Department of Architecture does not believe in personal free time.

LOL, none of them do. You KNOW THIS MAN.
MArch 3 is for people with a non-architectural BA/BS. EX: BA in accounting. I got a BA (arch major, 4 year) and an MArch2 (2 yr masters, UIUC).
You might be a two year masters with your work experience...

No, I'm a MArch2 because my undergrad was a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture. UofM has the 4+2 model.

Got it, the 4+2 is the norm now, so that should be solid man.
Let me know if you guys have open studios over Thanksgiving, I've actually tried to get on Jury there for giggles, but the timing never worked out. Love to see what the UofM Arch department is doing...
