I assure you in no uncertain terms that there are numerous private businesses selling certified halal food in Minneapolis. This is 100% a problem that can be solved via a food bank at a mosque supported by local halal businesses and private donations.

My Grandmother used to buy at least three items every grocery trip to donate to the local food bank. One day my Grandfather noticed that everything she bought for the food bank was name brand instead of store brand and asked her why. She said "I wanted to buy things that they would like." My Grandfather said "Hell, let 'em get hungry enough and they'll eat a bale of hay." That's my philosophy here.

When you are at the point where you are dependent on a food bank to survive then you aren't in a position to make demands and should be thankful for what you get. THAT was the point of the statement that obviously cleared your cranium by a mile.

Hay as in alfalfa is available in pill form, it's supposed to be good for you but I don't know. I'm not referring to hay, you numb nuts, I meant real food that you buy in a store...and not organic fruits and vegetables, or eggs for that matter.
