Well, you'd expect that from two teams that have been playing on and off since 1921, although Ole Miss leads the series 47–10–2.

For years, it was the opening game for both teams. I believe the only team we have played more is USM at 62 games.

I think USM is our longest series and we've played less than 40

A lot of those wins came before we started playing big time football in the early 60's. When we became competitive with them, it became an on again and off again series.

Correct. And Ole Miss will surpass them in 3 years, unless they're too chicken to continue playing us, if we keep improving.

I am a 5th-generation Mississippian (and proud of it), but I chose the University of Memphis. :pbjtime:The vast majority of my relatives are Miss State Bulldog fans. Their hatred for Ole Miss is of epic proportions.

Is there a joke in there? I'm not from MS, but love the Peabody. We spent our wedding night there so lots of fond memories.

Exactly. They are clueless.

They are a bunch of mommas boy alcoholics from Memphis that go there and have to come home. They usually go to community college and eventually transfer to Memphis because mom and dad are still paying legal fees and trying to settle whatever civil suits were caused while they we're down there. A poor dumb man's SMU with a bama mouth and a vandy level program
