The liberals I know are mostly douche bags. The biggest nest of liberal scum, not that liberals are automatically scum, were my ex girlfriend's family who were union folks who never worked, drug addicts claiming benefits and bitching about race, and special education teachers shuttling the disabled to polling station, and Minnesotans.

You guys are just assuming all liberals are the pancy type from Cali and NY... Rust Belt has a different breed of liberal. Perhaps more blue dog in nature, but still liberal. Perhaps, the title should be progressives, rather than just simply liberals.

The Union Worker has been voting for people that would eliminate their jobs for 40+ years now, what makes this time frame different. I'm just telling you that they are self confessed liberals that are part of some union. The only field listed there that isn't unionized are the natty gas drillers.
