What is the occassion to have 400 guests and 100 users on the site today? Did the athletic master plan come out or is it just curious UA fans? 05-mafia

Yes! That night was insane - didn't we hit over 1,000 people on the board?

Swagger could probably tell us when the highest traffic was on the board in its history.

Oh yeah! I think I had some sort of out-of-body experience at that game. It was totally surreal.

Maryland beats it. Nothing beats the exhilaration of a big win when you're surrounded by thousands of equally excited fans.

There are so many active boards I don't really keep individual board stats (but that is a good idea for the future, I'd just need to automate it).

Our site record was about 10,000 online at the same time during March Madness where several of the active boards were making runs. In general, football has the highest traffic but March Madness has the highest spikes.

If you want to get a feel for how boards are doing right now and over the last 24 hours, use Vitality (in the nav under features).

I love analytics. Would be cool to see the site include some. A dynamic graph that shows activity over time would be fun. Go buy Tableau or something 03-razz

I have analytics, but they are decidedly more sys admin oriented.

After some thought, I bet I have the stats indirectly since I have all the Google stuff segmented. Lemme take a peek.

I know that the google analytics are really really awesome if you've never used them before!

Yea, I have stats through Google Analytics tied into AdSense. So I can tell you more generic stats about NIU board records ... but not board specific stuff (such as total viewing).

You'd get a kick out of the GA Real Time window. I'll record a short little video for you and throw it on YouTube. Gimme ~30 mins or so.

So, I started segmented statistics for the site on Google Analytics in late January of 2013. Since then the #1 day on the NIU board -- by far -- is November 18, 2013.

Really? Two days before the Toledo game, on a Monday? 01-wingedeagle
