I’ve got calls into Memphis coach Josh Pastner and Jackson’s agent, Charles Briscoe. My guess is that it’s a training camp deal, much like Luke Hancock with the Grizzlies and Tarik Black with the Houston Rockets.

Yes...good for this Memphis kid...University of Memphis graduate and main reason our teams have become NCAA regulars.

I guess it can be important in a congratulatory thread to kick him a little...I mean he is a Memphis kid...but that speaks more of the kicker than the NBA player who hopefully most are thrilled for.
