First, this is our home opener. I think the offense wanted to come out and prove something. It was obvious they were hyped. They have now calmed down, and it shows. Second, there was a monsoon that caused turnovers. We had most of them because we have moved the ball by about ten more yards per play over our opponent. We are now winning by 24. They have 74 yards of offense to our 400. We may not win every game or win this conference, but we will win this game. Marshall is a good team, and as they gel in their new positions, this team will get better.

What's the score?

We said. With that I am very excited for Jean-Louis he will be a monster this year and hopefully seasons to come.

Time to bring in the backups, especially the QB to let him play with the full playbook at least for the rest of the 3rd quarter. Build for the future.

Driving rain for the majority of the first half sent many people home at half time. Cant read the numbers on the jerseys. We really need to get those switched out.

I'm glad we finally warned up and are playing much better now. Cato's runs were nice to see and I am now ready to see the backups continue what the first team started.

TD or not, Cato in for the 4th Qtr when it's 38 - 7 bad call. Gunnar should have been in with the opportunity to run the full playbook. This might be the only game this season where there's a chance to do this.

Should be straight secondary from here. I don't understand why Cato was left in for that last play, but TD anyway.

I guess you are too young to remember, Donnan would play 2nd and 3rd team QB's at this point in the game. It's called building for the future, that's why Marshall had no rebuilding years under Donnan, it was always reloading. Gunnar is going to come in and hand the ball off. This was probably the best chance to let him throw a pass in a game. Next year when he's the starter having NEVER thrown a pass in a game you'll say I was right.

I hate this fan base at times......

Some of you would have complained if we was up 120-0.
