That's the spirit! Sure wish we had more fans like you.

i think he was referring to the frustration of having his coach say publicly that they were waiting for "bigger" offers.

Yes.

And a Memphis grad whose parents had season tickets from the time he was 6 years old.

Two things:

I love that the kid knows how to get out of bounds or to the ground without taking a hit. That's rare in a high school QB and shows awareness.

His throwing motion absolutely reminds me of Danny Wimprine...that worked out pretty well for us.

QB Davis is solid. Adding him to the roster would give us the best depth in our program's history. Or RB depth has talent. We just need to work on holding onto the ball. If you look at OL, we are very young in the 2-deep. Our recruiting priorities on O are clear - upgrade WR and TE.

Shoot. Somebody get that kid over to the Academy, then.

We still need a breakaway threat at RB as well.

I had hoped Kolodney would be the anwer at TE, but he can't even make the 3 deep on the depth chart.

RE: QB commit Brady Davis tearing it up
Memphis is getting a steal in Davis. He transferred to Starkville from a smaller HS so he kind of flew under the radar but I would expect his attention to increase playing 6A Mississippi ball.

You don't have to worry about the instate schools, MSU is full at QB and OM is too I believe in addition to them having very limited spots this cycle. USM could be a team to watch and to be honest I don't know why they have not offered yet.

I think Cooper could be a big time player for us, and I sincerely hope we RS him this year. Agree that we could use another "classic" big name/star at RB. With Davis signing, I would rather have a big time TE though.

Cooper played Saturday and had the biggest run of the game so no red shirt for him

We will soon be hearing chants of COOOOOOOOO every time makes a nice run or scores.

So will CJF redshirt Davis next year or will he be the #2 behind Lynch?

well I tried to search the webs and only found his mom's name in a Clarion ledger article. Care to share Dad's first name since Davis is fairly common?

Was against FCS team late in the game. My opinion is we have depth at RB and should use it. Allow Cooper a year to learn play book and be in the weight room. Also gives some separation is scholly distribution by class/position. Davis and Wallace are RS Frosh and Cooper is true frosh.
