Stony Brook @ UConn
UConn with the bounce back.

SMU @ UNT
June's bouncy baby boys takes this one.

#4 Oklahoma @ Tulsa
Tulsa is going to get bounced.

Navy @ Temple
The bounces will go Navy's way.

Maryland @ USF
I can't figure either one of these teams out. I will pass on a prediction and hope for USF.

GT @ Tulane
Tulane will have more bounce in their step in their home opener than Houston had in theirs. Tulane wins this one.

ECU @ #9 South Carolina
Big bouncy Ruff and his Ruff Riders are my upset pick this week.

Grambling St @ Houston
Grambling will win the battle of bands. Houston should win the game.

Memphis @ #7 UCLA
UCLA wins at Rose Bowl.

Man this has the potential to be a really bad week for the AAC. Hopefully SMU, Tulane, USF can pick up some wins.

American faces #4, #7, and #9 this week.

UConn wins
SMU wins
Tulsa loses
Temple wins
USF wins
Tulane loses
ECU wins in an upset (South Carolina has no offense outside of Mike Davis. That will hurt them in a shoot out situation vs ECU.)
Houston wins
Memphis loses (They'll be competitive with an improved offense and underrated defense, but UCLA at home will find a way to win behind their QB. Hope i'm wrong.)

I see a pretty good week coming up for the conference.

Is it too early for me to make the BOLD prediction of a UCONN win over Stony Brook?

Mike Davis may not play this week for South Carolina. He has bruised ribs.

Stony Brook @ UConn

Standard FBS over FCS pick. Let's hope they aren't as helpless in this game as they were against BYU

SMU @ UNT

Pretty confident about this one. UNT couldn't score until garbage time against Texas.

#4 Oklahoma @ Tulsa

Just make it respectable...

Navy @ Temple

Temple scored at will against Vanderbilt...

Maryland @ USF

Maryland won 52-7 against a slightly better FCS team...

GT @ Tulane

What Tulane showed me Thursday impressed. Or is it that Tulsa is just bad? I guess we'll see.

ECU @ #9 South Carolina

USCe looked lost against aTm. Just promise me you guys won't become insufferable pricks after the win.

Grambling St @ Houston

FBS over FCS... or the wheels have completely come off of a preseason favorite...

Memphis @ #7 UCLA

I would love a Memphis win, but the consensus is that UCLA is a playoff contender. Travelling to the west coast and lack of depth will turn a close game into a 2 possession finish.

Our O has yet to produce for 4 qtrs against upper echelon D players. Whether USC is still discombobulated on D will determine the game.

As to pricks, you are one or you aren't.

Navy's offense is good, but their defense is a juicy matchup for PJ and an inexperienced, but good sized OL feeling pretty sky high right now.

I hope the TU/OU game isn't worse than that. TU played well last weekend against Tulane but had lots of trouble with red zone offense early. If they can improve on red zone efficiency then they might be able to hold it under 2 TDs but if they have to settle for field goals (or missed field goals) then under 4 TDs would be merciful.
