It was probably 6,000ish. Home side had a good crowd.

They must have left before the fourth quarter. Didnt really get a good look till then and I was pausing and counting the fans. Or at least a cluster and then multiplying the big cluster rough count by the number of clusters when they would show a different angle and side of the stadium.

6K in the 4th? They must have went home and to bed. Which is where I'm headed.... Goodnight guys!

Nice to have a win for the SBC under our "belt" no matter how ugly or who against. Thanks GAST.

Nah that was before halftime. After ACU took the lead the place cleared out.

a decent crowd for them would still seem sparse in a stadium that size. I dont know how many were there but they were loud at times. could have been 7 or 8,000. they really need to rally out the folks when they are on tv. there should have been 15-16,000. probably a lot of commuters that leave downtown after class..for tv games smu used to give away tickets at 7-11's on game day. that was back when they played in texas stadium and if you had 25-30,000 or so it looked pretty empty.

10k and change tickets sold. 6100 in seats

Last win...

LOL

It will build now. WE planted a seedling in the Levick Brown Field last night. Plenty of folks are cursing themselves this morning for either not showing up or staying home and watching on TV

Attendance smack is what this board does best and yet over th years there isnt a G5 program I can name that havent seen at some point in an empty stadium and some P5 ones too. Like I said yesterday after just horrible experiences on the field and the palor of death that Levick left the last 3 years, why would anyone go last night. I know I didnt feel comfortable until the very end. This team is going to earn back the public trust that it hasnt had since 2010. Now I think they went towards that last night. You might see 12k butts in seats next week. If we will, then I can see 22k plus for Air Force.

You are correct . . stAte had some dismal attendance numbers as we struggled . . Georgia State is not alone in that department . . those of us in glass houses should not be throwing stones.

Just surprised that the Big Peach didn't have fans roaming the street in drunken stupors in
celebration. Maybe overturning the trash cans (into dumpsters) and burning Atlanta Journal-Constitution
articles on their long losing streak.

As to attendance maybe the GaSt Panthers need to embrace the Memory Rewards Program of the Atlanta Falcons.
That would send cheerleaders into the stands to sit and talk with ticket purchasers. Kind of the way Hooters does
for tables.

Congrats on the win. Breaking a long losing streak is immensely difficult. We lost 23 in a row. Enjoy the moment.

To all Georgia State fans....you have 12 games in the season. No matter how you do it easy or hard a win is a very big deal. Most of SBC Nation was rooting for you tonight...glad you pulled it out. Enjoy and congrats!

I think it's too bad that the (former) TXST beat writer got saddled with covering UGA. At least he knows the SBC teams, App and GaSo.

yeah covering UGA is a burden, I know.

He will, however, be at the game when TXST comes to town.

NMSU winning last night may make that a harder upcoming game than you planned.
Good luck against them. We do not play them this year, but play you so will root for
you against them, sorry Aggies.

The advantage, if we have one, is they come to Atlanta (I was going to say home field advantage but knew that would call out the trolls to chime in).

NMSU is smaller up front than ACU was. Lets see if we can win another trench war.

I happen to think we have more talent and ability in our front 7. We shall see.

Well, we do know that barring some unfortunate facilities anomaly in the dome, either GSU or NMSU will be 2-0!

Probably a mistake to read too much into either game,
but I am anticipating that the matchup should be fairly even, and provide a close compelling game.

You also thought you'd beat ACU 41-7, so I suppose anything is possible, right?
