No, it's the Compliance Office's job to read through rule notifications. The problem is that probably no one in Football or Equipment bothered to tell Compliance they were ordering new jerseys and to have them cleared.

No way. I'd much prefer they continue playing the way they always have.

They've never placed better than third in any conference they've been in (including C-USA). Im perfectly happy with keeping it that way.

The conference doesn't need any one specific team to perform well for the AAC to have legitimacy. Even the power conferences have their bottom dwellers and they have plenty of legitimacy.

I don't think USF will stay down forever, but I'm certainly fine with it if they do.

That was one amazing game. Not only the worst team in USF history, but one of the worst teams in BCS history, at least in terms of the McNeese loss. And UCF was the conference champion and won a BCS bowl. And they beat USF, at home, by a whopping last second FG. I can't explain it. I have some friends in Orlando, and to be sure none of them want to brag about that win, other than finally beat usf in a general sense. That game scared the living hell out of them.

That's all I'm going to say. This thread should be dead, but always plenty of folks who want to piss back and forth... Time to start arguing about who has the prettier buildings or cheerleaders yet?

Thats the best part of rivalry games...especially those at the end of the season...records really don't matter...as every player on both teams seem to take it up a notch and the pressure mounts (sometimes, the heavily favored team can't handle it...while the underdog team has nothing to lose).

Last time UCF played USF (at BHNS in 2008), that not so good UCF team (4-8) took that Big East team into OT.

Another FLA example of last year's UCF/USF intrastate rivalry game was 1979, when UF went WINLESS that season, while FSU went UNDEFEATED, yet their season ending game was a tough one, as that winless UF team scared the heck out of that undefeated FSU team, who went on to play in the Orange Bowl (and lost).

UCF played its' worst game of the season against USF. Period. You can tell me how great USF played all you want, but the fact was that UCF was a clearly superior team to USF in every aspect last year. We simply came out completely flat and played a horrible game but ended up winning anyways.

But, it's good to see the 500 USF fans that attended the game were able to take away a moral victory.

Have to love rivalry games. There's something so different about them that make them difficult to win regardless of who's the heavy favorite. One that comes to mind is the michigan ohio state game this last season.
