As to the qb situation. He doesn't have a cannon but he was a smart qb in hs. His receivers all create yac so as long as he is smart with the football we will have a successful season

Out of curiosity, are you over the age of 40? The reason I ask is because only old people take forum trolling seriously. As long as nobody is being personally harassed or threatened, then it's all in good fun.

Well, Godfrey held on to the starting job for basically 2 years, though he split time much of that 2nd year.

I will say that I think Tyler Harris will be the eventual starter, but it mightn't be until next year.

The last hometown QB that was redshirted his freshman year and eventually won the job over fan-favorite QBs.... Did pretty well in my opinion.

He threw for 2,337 yards, 18 touchdowns and eight interceptions while leading East Lake to the third round of the Class 8A playoffs, where the Eagles fell 28-21 to eventual state champions Tampa Plant.

He lead Team Tampa to a 7-on-7 National Championship. He was named the MVP of the tournament.
