Georgia Southern tied for 8th with best home record in Football
Since 2011

I know it was against FCS oponents but it is still nice to get this kind of mention especially when you look at the company we have on the list!

Not as impressive as our 39 and 37 home game winning streaks. No other FCS or FBS program in the modern era has TWO streaks that long.

It's not easy winning at Paulson. Pretty tough to win at Boone as well.

Ive never been to GS, but without a doubt, outside of Montana, and maybe my school App, over the years, one of the toughest places to win in the FCS. The rest of the SBC is going to learn what we already know, if your traveling to GS, your teams going to have to play their very best to get out of there with a win.

*Since 2011.

We are 19-2 at home during that time.

Our overall home record is very high on the list as well.

Very impressive Georgia Southern. Way to go.
Them selecting a three year period with two of those games played in Boone helped your record.
You guys could just play us in Boone every year and then maybe you could keep your record forever.

Plenty but saving it for football season since it's so close.

good lord. Please let us beat Appy this year. Losing at home in front of likely packed house and on national TV would just suck.

This is our Overall record of 171-32 and home playoff record of 33-3, since Paulson Stadium opened.

Your point re: Boone is accurate. Had we not beaten them in 2007, the 39 and 37 win streak would have fallen, of that I have little doubt. That win was special for a lot of reasons.

Why do you all think The Stink has a great win percentage at home the past three years? I would go with just plain having a good football team. Surely it wasn't noise or intimidation. Paulson is not very loud, electric, or intimidating.

2013 - 4-1
2012 - 2-4
2011 - 3-2
2010 - 4-1

We've lost quite a few of those in the past few seasons, as our defense has underperformed, as a whole. Looking forward to our team defending their home turf much better this season.

The slope of the stands made it different for people in the crowd to understand how loud it was at field level. We got up to 110dB measured on the field last year, without the new deck and building. That's just going to help trap noise.

Please make the trip this year.
