It tastes like dirty water to me. Everyone in my family loves it. I've just never acquired the taste. I'm the one in the family that has to make homemade lemonade. That's my southern drink of choice.

I never could understand those people who mix tea with lemonade.

Here's my take on tea. I prefer it sweet...If it is sweet, it cannot contain lemon. If I drink unsweet tea I like lemon in it.

I could never be completely Southern.
The violent vernacular of mashing buttons, cutting off lights or cracking windows is a bit
too much for me. Heck! I still cringe when I hear someone use “buggy” for a shopping cart.

I use 'em all myself, Buc. Although I sometimes hit the button, flip the switch, or pop a window up. I also sometimes call a bag a poke, and a suitcase a grip. But those last 2 are still in use in the West Virginia back country. It's not really a southern thing.

My aunt in Alabama
"Y'all want to go to the store? I'll carry."
That's one I can't get on board with.

I'm young and I try to keep those words alive with my generation. Including commode for toilet.

I even use British slang at times. Like WC for bathroom, or richard for turd. It's a fair dinkum life, ye ken.

Wasn't aware they(we?) did. But have no opinion on it.
