The Appalachian State Athletic Department has released the 2014 Gameday Video to get fans pumped up for the coming season. Not only does it highlight the past few seasons, but it gives everybody who will be first time guests to Boone this fall something to look forward to.

I know every university claims that their atmosphere is the best, but once you step foot into Kidd Brewer Stadium, prepare to feel the noise.

I've seen most of that footage before in different videos. Hard to get excited about it anymore.

Also, Andrew Peacock graduated and won't be seen in 2014.

Why use Peacock to try and get fans pumped up?
Seems like a composite of other videos.

Just seems a bit long for a pump up video.

It doesn't take much to get me excited for football season. This did so and then some.

It fascinates me how some of our most involved fans, at least those who post on message boards every day, can be so damn negative. Sheesh. It's a sweet hype video. Who cares if they recycled shots?

Shucks, we aren't even ranked in the top 25 this year - thank goodness.

first time an fcs pre-season poll hasn't included app or southern in god knows how long. haha. SoCon still managed to get 3 teams in though. I doubt that will hold up for long.

I did not need to be reminded of that debacle in Boone last year.

But I can't blame you when half of your offensive highlights for the year were form that one game.

Very well done but it's about two-and-a-half minutes too long. By your third home game even App fans will not be paying attention to it. But the drone shots are spectacular as are the time lapse stuff.

I hate App, but damn their videos are great!

I hear we are supposed to be stepping up our game in the video department, but we have a long ways to go.

Recruits love this type stuff.

Video would be very good if it was two minutes shorter. You lose the interest of the average person after 3-4 minutes.

App fans are not average ;-).

App is the only game of the year I hate going in as the favorite it just seems to motivate the other team. We were mediocre at best when you beat Mich yet somehow we win that game, I am still scratching my head on that one.

On a side note seeing the your visitor's side I am so glad we went with concrete and hope we continue to for any future expansion. I am hoping to see a lot more brick facade on any future expansion as well.
