Please remember they have never won an outright championship. No matter how great they say they are.

470 yards of total offense compared to 168 total yards equals domination.

ULL has never gone undefeated in conference play in the Belt in a season. ASU and I believe TROY and maybe UNT have. ULL has never had an outright conference title in football as they imploded last year to keep that from happening. ASU, Troy and UNT have.

Like I said y'all are good but not the Alabama of the SBC like some of your fans put out there. We won two championships in a row and except for one guy didn't come off as the greatest thing that ever happened. That stuff gets kind of old.

This is exactly why I don't understand the attitudes of some SB and CUSA folks. With the exception of Lafayette, we have all been in the same transitionary boat at one time or another. We get it. We're the new kids on the block. We have to pay our dues and prove ourselves. But comments from people like ULL's head football coach and WKU fans in particular are hard to figure.
Look Hudspeth has to recruit against 7 FBS programs within 3.5 hours of our campus plus the 6 FCS schools in Louisiana. So he stated he did not support being in what was considered a transitional conference. Some of you newbies took that as a shot at y'all programs, when it was a salvo at our administration from Hudspeth.
There are 9 FBS and 10 FCS schools within a 3.5 hour ride of Boone.
Sorry I should have clarified, G5 schools.
Every decent football program in the South recruits the state of Georgia. Southern Georgia specifically is some of the most talent rich regions of the country that gets combed over by most of the G5. How is Hudspeth's job any harder? This is the South, there are good programs everywhere.

Yawn, whatever. Since the SBC started football, UL has 2 Co-championships. ULM has 1 Co-championship, ASU has 4 with 2 being Co-championships, Troy has 5. The rest were by schools now in CUSA.

App wouldn't have a team without Georgia. About 1/3 of our scholarship roster calls the Peach State home, 10-13 of them will probably be starters this fall.

Only 1 G5 in that list. App is surrounded by Tenn, Va Tech, Wake, Duke, UNC-ch, NC State, ECU, USC & Clemson. Yet people wonder why we recruit so many out of state players.

Wow. Within 3.5 hours of USA, there are 0 P5 schools, and only 3 FBS schools (Tulane, USM, and Troy). And about 5.5 million people. And no FCS schools
Within 3.5 hours of Texas State, we have 4 P5, 5 G5, and 3 FCS schools.
Actually, the G5 number is high... UNT is in that 4-4.5 hour range. So really, it's only 4 G5.

Not trying to talk smack but does OHIO and North Carolina have too many schools. Or is it just me.

Twelve D-1 schools in NC with a population of 10 million while Louisiana has 11 D-1 schools and a population around 4.6 million. Undergrad enrollment in NC's 12 D-1 schools is 182,000 while Louisiana's 11 D-1 schools is 123,000.
Of course we haven't discussed the 3 FCS non scholarship and 13 D-II programs in NC.

Yeah I know in Georgia we just wrapped up a bunch of consolidations. The state was trimming the fat at the lower levels. I wouldn't be surprised to see a few more mergers. To be honest though.
