RE: Nick Saban wants to put the hammer on the G5
They can't exclusively play P5 AND have their 7 or 8 home games.

Saban is actually taking cheap shots at those who schedule weak OOC opponents... But mainly at the acc.

lol....opps. I was thinking Les Miles in my head for some reason. Probably because he said the same thing a few days ago. Something along the lines of keeping it to just the top 65 and leave the "Toledos and Akrons" behind.

Besides, its the same OOC at Bama. Saban schedules just like Miles. In 2013 Bama had Colorado St, Gerogia St, Chattanooga, and Virginia Tech. This year he has W Virginia, S Miss, FAU, and Western Carolina. They both spew the same garbage and then schedule some of the weakest OOC's possible.

Same story with Alabama... Hypocrisy anyone?

2014 Alabama OOC (Upcoming Season)

West Virginia (in Atlanta)
Florida Atlantic
Southern Mississippi
Western Carolina (FCS)

2013 Alabama OOC (Last Year)

Virigina Tech (in Atlanta)
Colorado State
Georgia State
Chattanooga (FCS)

2015 Alabama OOC (Next Year)

Wisconsin (in Texas)
Louisiana-Monroe

Alabama doesn't do one-and-one with teams in the P5 and seems to only play P5 OOC at neutral locations. You can't fill out a schedule doing that.

Saban needs to put his money where his mouth is and actually schedule that way, if he truly believes that. But he won't. He'll keep scheduling his one good p5 team and 3 cupcakes and act all full of himself and blame the system as to why he won't do what he suggests.

Exactly... They talk a big game, but when it comes to scheduling AAC worthy competitive opponents, but instead they come up with 1,000 lame nancy cupcake excuses.

Don't forget that it's SEC coaches like Saban and the goofball at Arky that want to slow the game down and prevent fast break offenses from getting in as many plays per game as they do now.

SEC teams beat their chests but schedule OOC games like gutless turds, except Arky. They play Texas Tech on the road on 9/13 and have NIU at home on 9/20

This criticism of Saban makes little sense. It's only reasonable to expect a P5 school to schedule only other P5 if every other P5 is too. If you do it by yourself, it's suicide.

Wait, why is Alabama playing Wisconsin in Texas, and where? Most Texans couldn't care less about these two teams unless it were a bowl game perhaps.
