Nice win TXST.

Next time tell Benson and crew to show off your facility several times in the game so people dropping by get a good feel for what you got.

ASU beats ULM 11-7 in game 2. ULM scored 4 in the 9th with 2 outs to make the score respectable. Now 12-5 in league, and we'll go for the sweep tomorrow at 1pm

Rodney Hennon has to go. Should have been fired along with Sammy Baker.

ULM with a melt down of epic proportions today. Their all everything closer gives up 5 runs, gets pulled from the game, and in the 9th they kicked the ball around and threw to the wrong base at points to help us along. Fun 10-9 win for the sweep.

ASU now 13-5 in league. I'll post standings tonight

So it looks like ASU does not need Louisiana to throw anything, you guys are in position to take it all regular season, and championship on your own. So I doubt we will volunteer to donate anything to the SBC.

No...you are welcome to help us out any way you want.

Will you bringing those "special bats" for the series in Jonesboro, or are they just used for Tulane?

We keep those in the Mercedes Super Dome, in a private vault built for NOLA Bowl winners. Of course the Lamers will never see that vault.

Louisiana is 36-5 which is a great record but this 5th loss dropped them to #14 in RPI. I still hope they can get a top 8 seed but mark my words if the powers that be can come up with any reasonable way to deny them a top 8 seed it will be done.

They've got home vs Texas State and at ASU the next two weeks. If they have a good next two weeks, it will go up enough to maintain a top 8 seed.

On the other hand...if they struggle with either team, it would make it less likely they can maintain that top 8 seed.

Some of the league RPI's are terrible this year. UTA is actually a darn good club, but they screwed the pooch so much in nonconference play that their RPI is now hurting every league member they beat.

Let Coach Harrington show you around. He has 10X more personality than Benson.

A road loss did less to hurt the Cajun's RPI than you probably think.

But I agree on your second point. If the Cajuns fall at, say, a #8 RPI by selection time, I could definitely see the selection committee denying them a national seed.

I can't figure this team out either. They have three wins over top 20 teams, yet have losses to DI-transitional schools Incarnate Word (12-24) and Abilene Christian (14-23) as well as losses to SFA (16-23), McNeese (20-18) and Houston Baptist (17-19).03-pissed
