He would be perfect for Tennessee. In fact Cronin would not even have to change his plays or anything. Cincy and Tennessee are both tough on defense and neither team can shoot.

Cincy is a better job then UT. Next years UT team is going to be horrible, and the UT fan base is half retarded.

Only way Cronin leaves Cincinnati for Knoxville is if he has an urgent need to get out of town for some reason… There's no basketball- or coaching-related reason to make the move.

Cronin is a Cincy guy. I think that as long as Cincy keeps making the paychecks look good, there is no reason for him to leave. Cincy is a better brand name than Tennessee in men's hoop.

Actually, it was just a poll asking fans to vote, not really a list compiled by the university. It had perhaps 20 names on it, most of whom likely would not take the job.

That being said, while nothing is impossible, it is HIGHLY unlikely Cronin is interested in the Tennessee job.

Yeah, this isn't much to be concerned about. I saw tweets saying that Tennessee contacted Mick Cronin, not that he was interested. I'm not concerned.

Only way Mick leaves is if he feels the administration won't support him in the way he needs to in order to compete. That's a non-issue right now.

Surely you jest. He's around because he is a Cincinnati guy. He lives and breathes UC. He's been offered jobs at NC State, Minnesota, and more. He's still here. And will be until the day he retires or feels the university won't support him.

If Cronin leaves for the Tennessee job now, he needs to get his head checked. That cupboard is being left pretty bare.
