You misspelled Fried Okra and Hushpuppies. 04-cheers

I've never heard of having MASHED POTATOES with BBQ.

You have Potato Salad.

I'm not discounting the Mac N Cheese or Collard greens.

I am just saying Mashed potatoes instead of potato salad? That's just crazy talk.

Are hushpuppies a BBQ thing on the east coast?

Everywhere I've been, hushpuppies was purely for seafood. Fried seafood.

I've never had hush puppies with bbq, but everyone knows the sauce is boss. I prefer a vinegar based sauce, or a mustard based sauce.

Born in Florida, but have lived in Georgia most of my life... I know Vinegar sauce is a North Carolina thing. They also like slaw straight on the sandwich. I have had bbq from almost every region, but its hard to beat a good brisket with some vinegar sauce.

I've had hush piggies. Hush puppies with BBQ in the middle of them. You talking about good. And hello to the SBC board, hope our BOV gets it done. I'm looking forward to traveling South to some football games.
