Adding the upper deck has made that stadium look a thousand times better. I was worried when we first invited Georgia Southern that they wouldn't be able to have a FBS field. The endzone facility is looking nice also.

Its hard to get a feel for how big the FOC is because half of it is buried in the ground. Even before the expansion, Paulson was a pretty little stadium. I agree with you though it desperately needed a size upgrade.

We haven't really seen consistent reports on that actually. I think actual seats is 24k, which means with grass and standing room they'll list full capacity around 26 or 27k.

Looks like there was confirmation that the lighting will be upgraded this year in preparation for the HD broadcasts on ESPNU.

We've been needing the upgrade for a while. Any of our games on TV look terrible because our lighting isn't that great, I'm not sure that it's been updated since the lights were originally installed.

Can't wait for the Blue and White Game!!!

I love the look of the upper deck supports. It has a very futuristic look to it.

Has a good feel to it as well. Went into the stadium the other day for our first scrimmage and the place finally feels like a real stadium. It's much more "enclosed" than images give it credit for, you don't get a good idea of the height of the structures until you're IN the stadium.

Yeah it'll definitely help reverb. effect when your team's on D or you're chanting. I wish our east side upper deck looked like yours. We were super pressed for seats at the time so we did more of an erector set look. I'm sure saving a dollar didn't hurt either. Hopefully down the road we can continue to polish up our stadium seating. I believe we have plans to add permanent end zone seating, but it could be a few years from now. I presume the short brick wall will come down and your team will be running out of that new field house onto the field once it's complete?
