Rolleyes White and Tyndall on the Auburn HC short list
Per ESPN's Jeff Goodman.

I'm 100% sure Mike won't discuss it until the postseason is over.

Furthermore, I see Wake as a bigger threat than Auburn

Going to Auburn would be a terrible career decision for either.

If Wake is really interested in White, that would be a good opportunity for him.

I'd wait to see what he does in this tournament before I'd make statements like that.

Agree on both. Wake would be tempting. If I were a "mid-major" coach (or whatever we're called) who wanted to move up in the world, I'd avoid Auburn like the plague.

The only 3 SEC schools I see Mike leaving for would be UF, UK, and Ole Miss. The first two would need to see many more NCAA tournament wins on his resume (we'll settle for 1). Ole Miss will always be a threat if they look to make a move.

I doubt White would jump to Auburn as most SEC jobs aren't that great outside of Florida & Kentucky unless you're just after the money

depending on what happens the rest of the of postseason, White will probably want to try to make his resume look better as Tech is returning some great players next season

IMO White will probably end up at Wake Forest. White's father is a former Duke A.D. if I recall correctly and Wake Forest is probably letting Bzdelick go after the season.

Ummmm...his father IS the AD at Dook and IF he leaves for there I'd be happy for him and his family. They'd be in the same area code as grandma and grandpa.

If Donny does leave soon Greg Heiar would be on his way to Hattiesburg asap.

IMO, Auburn might have to settle for an assistant coach

Very true, middle of nowhere. Haven't been good in a long time. Plus the hard truth is that league is Kentucky and the step sisters.

Tech & USM need to put clauses in the contracts of White & Tyndel saying that the school that hires them away has to give that school a home & home

DT did that when he came here. We went to Morehead last year and they came to Hattiesburg this year.

I hear ya....but we have a polished gem that is invaluable regarding commitment, ethics, and developing talent.....and you know this....

yeah, everyone is replaceable....but the cost is sometimes severe....

It would be a shame to see us not fight for the value he offers....the mid-season pittance raise was hopefully the beginning of a future good faith gesture....jmo
