No. You can only play in an international tournament/games once every four years.

Charlotte played in Puerto Rico this year, Alaska last year, and Charleston the year before that. Not sure if we played in one Major's first year, but we played in the Preseason NIT Lutz's last year as coach.

Isn't the type of tournaments that only count as one game also a similar rule to the international policy? i.e. in some of these tournaments it counts as only one game toward your max. Others it counts two or three or however many you play in it.

I admit my recollection on this particular rule is weak.

I'm just getting ready for the meltdown on this board if Southern Miss doesn't win the tournament. It's the same ****, different day as far as I'm concerned.

My beef with NDSU and ESPN is that they'll give Ohio St. credit for beating them while they won't give Southern Miss any credit. And, yes, I have heard the talking heads state OSU's win as being "good", "great", "solid". Never even mentioned on the rare occasions Southern Miss is discussed.

That can't be true, because the UAB fans say so. You know, the team that just choked away a big lead in the last two minutes if their last game.

Meanwhile, North Dakota State finished the reg. season 25-6 and won the Summit League tonight over IPFW. They have punched their ticket. Once again, our win over them at their place was huge.

Congrats. USM beat a 15 or 16 seed.

I definitely didn't say it was a bad win, but when you have to resort to talking a win up, it's not that good. It's a solid win but really doesn't mean much. You also say you got screwed out of the tournament last year. Shows how much you really know. Again, I want to cusa teams in the tourney, it's good for us all. I just don't think there's much there for southern miss.

Sounds to me like since UAB isn't going to a post-season tourney...some of their fans want to be all negative-Nancy/glass half-full. You could easily make a strong case for us getting an at-large as well as La Tech...maybe MTSU.

I hope USM gets an at large bid. My reaction in this thread is because USM fans are trying to make North Dakota state the second coming of the UCLA dynasty.

Just because you beat one team with a good RPI doesn't mean as much as it used to. The RPI is not as much a criteria as it used to be.

I started being a dick after USM fans started attacking UAB because they didn't like our opinions.
