2011-2012 Huskies were 5-26, 3-13Mac, 12th seed and a -12.3 scoring margin. 2012-2013 Huskies were 5-25, 3-13Mac, 12th seed and a -8.9 scoring margin. 2013-2014 Huskies were 14-16, 8-10 Mac, 7th seed and a -0.6 scoring margin. I said before if this team won 14 games then I would believe they could've won 20 with Dontel Highsmith. Add another ten points to their average and it would've been possible. WMU won the MAC with a +4.6 scoring margin and Toledo had the highest at +7.0. 2014-2015 Huskies will return all but 212pts. They scored 1890pts this year. Their will not be anyone leaving unless its a coaches decision. I believe the 2014-2015 Huskies will have a scoring margin of at least +6.0. If Highsmith is healthy, NIU will be the top team in the MAC. If Highsmith isn't healthy, NIU will be a top 4 MAC team. The good times are here. Thank you, Coaches and Players!

The addition of Orris is going to benefit greatly if he is as good as I think he is. We need assists, badly, and I hope he can help. The success of next season depends on the performance of him and Highsmith.

I am not going to count on Highsmith. You never know after a ACL injury. Orris, Johnson, Maric and the current roster will be enough. Highsmith will be icing on the cake if he's healthy.

Yeah its a cake. What does icing go on? You put it on a cake. Huskies scored 63pts a game and gave up 63.6pts a game. Last year, they scored 54pts and gave up 62pts a game. Next year, they should be as good on defense and easily score more pts.

I actually wonder if there could be some slight slide defensively next year, but I would guess if that happens it would be more than made up for in the offensive improvement. What is exciting is that the pieces missing from this team are exactly what is coming in next year. It almost seems like a perfect storm.

That 62 was because they scored so little, that 63 this year was because of defense (and a little bit of small scoring).

If just Darell Bowie was making free-throws at a 600% this years team would be even in points scored and points given up. They likely would be 15-15 or 16-14. Expect 20 wins next year and a top 4 seeding. Also, Monty should be extended today or sometime this week.

Too bad about spring break, there wont be many there, that's ok though, I think we are going to have some of the most memorable crowds/environments in Convo history next season though.

Basketball has been an afterthought for Athletics all year. If the Huskies get to Cleveland, we'll still see the same stellar marketing.
