How about promoting both games together as a DOUBLE HEADER? There are tons of empty seats in the Convo, so they can market it as fans getting the same seat for both games, and even give a discount off the combined ticket prices. Some creativity can go a long way!

I think you just answered your own question, ESPN2. This weekend the smaller conference tournament are in full swing. If I am not mistaken, this might be the first ESPN2 game for the MAC all season. The basketball television package is weak sauce. I don't count ESPN3 as real coverage.

Ive been really impressed with the MAC TV package, the picture quality/graphics seem very very nice. Its also nice how this has been syndicated over CSN.

For us it has been good with the CSN angle not so sure about the rest of the league as it seems broadcasts are limited by market. The AAC has had quite a few games on ESPNews. I would take that if we cannot get on ESPNU. Too many weaker leagues sucking up airtime. Is CSN going to pickup our MAC tournament games? They are showing the entire MVC tourney and then semis and finals are ESPN.

You can see both games with one ticket.
But you are correct, the marketing/communication of this has been just a notch above awful.

Not much you can do about Spring Break.

But how do you NOT promote Senior Day!

Shame on SF for this. (My first negative thought towards SF.)

Absolutely correct! Tomorrow is Senior Day for both the men and women. While the teams have not been great, the seniors have worked very hard over the years and deserve our recognition and appreciation. To not promote the heck out of this is inexcusable.

Its boy and girl scout day with $3 group tickets and "lots of inflatables for the kids".

I am really surprised that they didn't send anything out (e-mail or snail mail) to the pup club members for this game.

RE: Cardinals @ Huskies predicitons and MAC tourney implications
Here are the scenarios for tomorrow, the games that matter for NIU seeding are

Ball State @ NIU
BGSU @ Buffalo
Miami-OH @ Ohio

If NIU loses, NIU automatically will draw Kent State Monday night.

As stated above NIU has already clinched a Monday night home game, below are all the scenarios for tomorrow and the implications for Monday night.
______________________________________________
If NIU wins
AND
BGSU loses
AND
Miami-OH loses
THEN
#10 BGSU @ #7 NIU

If NIU wins:
AND
BGSU wins
AND
Miami-OH wins
THEN
#9 BGSU @ #8 NIU

If NIU wins
AND
BGSU loses
AND
Miami-OH wins
THEN
#9 Kent State @ #8 NIU

If NIU wins
AND
BGSU wins
AND
Miami-OH loses
THEN
#10 Kent State @ #7 NIU

If NIU loses
THEN
#9 Kent State @ #8 NIU
______________________________________________

If you go with the straight betting lines it would suggest the most likely scenario of an NIU win, BG loss, Miami loss tomorrow, that would result in a 10 vs. 7 matchup with BGSU coming to DeKalb. If this most likely scenario matchup did happen, NIU's path would be:

BGSU -----> EMU -----> Buffalo -----> Toledo -----> WMU

Kent and BGSU are probably pretty much washes in terms of quality of opponent but maybe BG would give us the best chance of a tournament victory given BG has not been into DeKalb this year. Adjusting to the court, shooting backdrop may help a little perhaps?

Dad gum it, Miami-OH up on Ohio 42-41, 7th seed possibility could be gone.
