I know Coach is still learning, but I wish he would call time outs to stop runs.

We are better than last year, but have some definite deficiencies.

He does call timeouts to stop runs. Ours.

I wish i understood his philosophy on that... that really puzzles me.

Exactly how much better is this team than last year's team, taking into account the difference in strength of schedule? Not much. That's very disheartening and disconcerting.

We're not better than last year. Haase is a nice guy but it's clear to me he isn't the answer.

This team is a hell of a lot better than last years. What are you even looking at? This team is basically last years team with the addition of cj watts mehinti and Frazier. You obviously forget how bad we were last year.

You're a dumb***. Post something positive once in a while. Haase is recruiting at a level we haven't seen in quite a while. Everything is going to be fine we are just a year away.

Once it is clear to Tibber, it should be clear to everyone else to take the opposite approach.

RE: Official ECU Game Thread
The only way we could make the NCAA was to win the conference tournament anyway.

All this did was pretty much guarantee that it would take 1 extra game to do it.

We have to figure out how to get everyone playing at a higher level.

If we can't get any production out of the 3 spot or figure out a way to defend a lot better, we are screwed this year anyway.

We just lost to a team that was winless in CUSA. At home. We have to listen to smack talk from the douchiest fanbase in the conference. Call me names if you want, it doesn't change anything.

RE: Official ECU Game Thread
lol. tibber is crazy.

Our RPI is like 20 spots better than it was last year. We're on pace to have a similar or worse CUSA record (this is without playing Memphis twice). Our SOS is worse than last years. Those are three objective things that say we aren't much better than last year. I know there's still a good bit of the season left to be played, but those numbers don't look good.

I do think we've improved from last year, but how much? I thought we'd take more of a stride in year 2 with so much experience and a more talented roster.

Losing to ECU at home is really bad.

Haase only has one recruiting class right now. All of which are contributing. Rucker is a Davis rollover. He wasn't really able to recruit for 2012. Since he took the job in late march 2012 when signing day is in April. Besides Rob Williams, all the main contributions come from Haase's recruits. Need the Davis brand to graduate and move on. Wait til Haase gets a team of his own recruits who all give it their all on the court.

Not really, Davis didn't recruit guys like William Lee and Lewis Sullivan. He didn't recruit at all.

I wasn't around on blazer talk back then. So that doesn't mean sh*t to me. Haase has already signed the best class UAB has had in a decade, unless William Lee(Isaac Hamiltons us), with 2 more spots open. Wash the Davis stench from the program.

Did Murray sign guys just to fill roster spots, instead of recruiting kids at positions of need?

Know the Game.

At least we don't have to worry about Haase leaving for a big time job or Frazier leaving for the NBA early, lol.
