Tough loss. Only had a chance to watch last 10 minutes. Was anybody playing except Juice today for the Rockets?

You can't keep the 5 count while he's driving towards the basket

I went back and rewatched it. The ref started the count once Juice started dribbling towards halfcourt, so he wasn't driving. But, according to my stopwatch, it was only 4-4.5 seconds.

According to TK on the post-game show, Boothe is sick and didn't practice the other day. Said he probably played him too much.

Defense cost us this one. Damn, I wanted this W bad. At least we get a rematch with them.

This might have cost us an at-large bid.

Thank god there's an explanation. Looked lost out there. Makes sense that he has the flu or something

TK will make this a learning experience for sure...bring on the falcon meat!

You're welcome. And you're right: Rockets have to put this one behind them and focus on the Falcons, a team that seems to be up-and-down but that has a couple of good road conference wins in places where Toledo wasn't able to win this season (Western and Ohio).

Coaching was bad today. We needed to use a timeout earlier when oh started to cut into our first half lead. We then let them shoot all kinds of threes and we gave up too many easy baskets in the paint. The turnover after a timeout was bad as well

Regardless of the outcome, this was a very good basketball game filled with ties and lead changes. Both teams had big runs throughout the game. It was an exciting game to watch. Ohio U is a very good team and they made a few more plays at the end to win it. We'll get them back at Savage. I hope that no one panics about this loss. The Rockets are 18-3, 6-2 in the MAC. They were going to lose a few games this season no matter how good they are. They are still a legit contender for the MAC title and it will be a battle with Ohio, Akron, and Buffalo. These are exciting times for Rocket men's basketball and let's not get down on them after a single loss. GO ROCKETS!!!!

Plus now every MAC team has three years of tape on Rian and are probably gearing their defense against him.

And this is also true if coach and team learn some things from it

I continue to be impressed with the number of potential scorers on this team. Today Pearson and Booth only got four points apiece and the Rockets still scored 90. What I didn't like is that it seemed at times some Rockets tried to do to much on their own with one-on-one playground ball rather than sticking with the team concept----- this may help explain why Ohio had almost twice as many assists (22 to 12) as UT. Although UT was only slightly out rebounded (41 to 38) it also seemed that Ohio got too many put back baskets at several critical points in the game.

However, to keep things in proper perspective, what really matters is what happens in Cleveland in March not what happens in Athens in early February. At least this was an exciting and entertaining game that could have gone either way so maybe ESPN will give UT a bit more exposure down the stretch.

A good effort by the Rockets on the road against a quality opponent. A couple more free throws made in regulation, game does not go into OT. Really looking forward to the rematch in Savage.

The Rockets are 7-0 in games with less than five point differential this year. Its unrealistic to expect that they will win every close game. Today the last second plays went against them. That's the way it goes in sports.

Rockets are a serious contender for a MAC championship, which is pretty exciting, especially given the recent history of the program. They are not, however, a top-25 team, a potential at-large team, or a team that is any better than the top MAC teams in any given year.

Juice was incredible.

Several people have mentioned that Garber is a work in progress. I agree with that, but the great news is that he does seem to be progressing. I thought he played well today.

How many stops did we get in overtime? It seemed that Ohio scored every possession.
