It was Dixon that was hurt and went to the back. He came back out and played though. No worries. he was just a little shaken up after he got fouled on his transition layup.

He still has it do much they lost to USF. Zone is no longer an issue with this team...we dunk all over a zone.

That's now three straight games of holding our opponent under 60. Nice to see more energy on defense. Shaq never got it going offensively but was a monster on defense the second half.

Any win is a good win. Ugly or not, this one goes in the correct column in the ledger. But man, what an ugly floor. UCF's Sykes is a real baller. Hope we have someone like him coming along. He drove by the Tigers all night. Nice player. Don't know the dynamics of the team, but they could be very good in a year or two.

Joe apologized in the post game. He said he shouldn't have done it with the game on the line like that.

We were a 7.5 point favorite. Won by 10. Always have a hard time there. That is our first double digit win there in a few years, IIRC. Shaq stayed in foul trouble. AN had a bad game. Guards saved us. On to next. Gotta play better to take SMU. Another hard place for us to play.

EDIT: I checked. Tonight was our first double digit win at UCF since 2006-07 season.

UCF was shooting 50% around and the tigers shut them down in the 2nd half

I guess....still bothers me to see guys driving all the way to the hoop without a lot of off the ball help. We need a DJ Stephens or the like back there to make up for our perimeter guys not moving their feet defense.

Did you not see that we corrected that weak side defense lapse by the 2nd half? Sheesh!!!!!
