Interesting guy....said he'd rather make a pass to a teammate for the score than do it himself. 4 assists today....he found both Draper and McDowell for their shots at the end...he seems to understand that his strength is driving the ball......he's raw and not hitting free throws but I think he could be valuable down the stretch with the wing span and height.

Thoughts?

I like his upside. Imho, I think his future is a flex/face up 4. Possibly top of key guy in a zone on defense with his length.

Best I've seen him for sure. He hit his first 4(I think) free throws then commenced to building a house...

His outside shot was turrible, just turrible.

Yeah, could be a liability against a good team if they sag and dare him to shoot.

It's hard not to like him. Lots of skills with long arms, going to be fun to watch him grow.

I think his ability to rebound on both ends is one of his best features, and no one ever gives him props for it.

Props!

Absolutely!

He's got that reach and stretch that would make Spiderman go hmmm. He's fun to watch and I mentioned in the game thread that he could be a real crowd favorite on down the road. Someone responded and said he sulks a bit too much when things don't go his way, but that things look like they'll go his way next year.

I can't tell his expressions since my TV is old and crappy and not HD, lol. But he got some good cheers today.

He is the next Kevin Durant. Needs more PT at the 1-2 and 3.

I enjoyed seeing a lot of the young'uns get some minutes today. Given enough time, they could all bring a lot to the table in the years to come.

RE: Iverson
I admit I was a little pleasantly surprised at how well both Iverson and King played today. Iverson, in the few minutes he's had in previous games, looked like a fish out of water most of the time, and looked uncoordinated and all gangly legs trying to run and dribble at the same time. But today, he brought the ball up a few times and seemed to be much more physically comfortable handling the ball. This game, at this particular time in the season, might be a blessing in disguise for getting the subs some significant playing time.

He said post game that he has a lot to learn defensively and rebounding wise and said that in his opinion his offense is ready to go. Said that he was frustrated with not getting playing time in the UConn game and thought his length could have helped against Daniels but said that he's listening to what the coaches are telling him to work on. Said that his length is his strength and agreed with Wolo that him in a zone in the future would be devastating.

From what I heard, it appears the coaching staff is trying to get him to be a 3 and a flex 4

he's not a 1 ... his minutes are at the 3 and 4. Not that he can't trigger the O some ...
Does Durant play any point ...

KI is a Magic/Durant hybrid. He can play any guard/wing position on the floor.

He has tremendous upside but isn't ready to play serious minutes against tough competition like King. His free throw shooting needs to improve and he shouldn't shoot any 3 pointers

No he will be really good but King is more game ready right now. CJP pretty much made the same criticisms in his post game interview
