As I think more about it - you're right.

Fleck is recruiting a great class. He may be best recruiter we've ever had.

Within three years (all his recruits in program) we will be where NIU was in winning MAC West, MACC, in consideration for major bowl game.

Absolutely inspired hire by Dunn. Don't know why I didn't see it before.

Thanks for opening my eyes.

Well, he is 28 and sees all Major.

Ok, well then we'll come back to this discussion in 3-4 weeks when it's "official" and still the best class in the MAC. Can't wait to hear what the spin will be then. I think I already know... 03-drunk

Best class in the MAC according to who?

Rivals, Scouts, etc. who know nothing and care less about MAC?

According to all 4 major recruiting service websites (Rivals, Scout, 24/7, ESPN).

Obviously you are being sarcastic, but it's funny because you aren't that far off. Assuming Fleck has 2-3 more classes like the one he's building in 2014, WMU should be doing very well by 2016, 2017, etc.

It took NIU 5-6 consecutive years (some would argue longer) to build the program to what it is now. Again... funny an experienced football coach like yourself can't understand such a simple concept.

Just amazing what Darnel and Cubit were able to do in one year. Molde took two years. Now it has to take Fleck 4 - 5 years? Heck, look at what Franklin accomplished at Vandy in just 3 years.

I'm not buying it when it comes to PJ.

Yup BC and GD were great out of the gate, I really enjoyed a few of their teams, but they didn't maintain their success. No coach is flawless, GD's last year he was winless against d1a teams, I still think he was a very good coach.

Yeah, to be considered great, they'd have to have maintained success the way Fleck does. 03-thumbsup

Maybe Fleck had his GD year early rather than late 02-13-banana

And since you "See All, Know All" - we'll still be ranked the best MAC class in 3-4 weeks.

What could go wrong?

Moi, sarcastic? Please.

Also I said "13-0 by 2016 if not before" - why are YOU fudging ("by 2016, 2017")? You're showing a little crack in confidence in Our Boy. Or is the crack in your crystal ball?

He isn't going to Oklahoma. He has basically spurned Florida, Arkansas, and Iowa already. He wants to stay close to home. If MSU or UM offer, he may bolt, but I don't see it for Oklahoma.

To get us back on topic. Okafur has been offered by Oklahoma, so his days are numbered now.
