I can't think of anything he could say that I wanted to hear.

You should probably do yourselves a favor and not listen to sports radio. They have no idea what they are talking about and they love to pile it on when something bad happens to keep the pot stirred. Even on good days they rarely have anything insightful or relevant to say. And if we ever do good they will be saying they were in our corner the whole time.

JOX notwithstanding, but do you really need to know what McGee said to understand what he meant? At this point it's clear that he is just infinite layers of coach-speak masking an insecure and inferior product.

What little I listened, it was all Jay Barker regurgitating the BOT party line on building a new stadium. "They didn't have a guarantee the money would repay the bond ".

Some anonymous caller who played for both Callaway and Mcgee, also worked as a GA, said the BOT visited campus and said we need new football buildings and it was Carol Garrison who put a stop to it.

We probably don't have a former player of both coaches that has worked as a GA.

If that's true then she should work for the CIA working on creating misinformation campaigns. I saw some emails that directly refute that.

However, I do not think it was the football stadium that got her fired. I think she was about to be pushed out regardless and she threw the football stadium in their face in response.

If the article I read is correct, mcgee said he was leaving because uab was too slow in building a stadium. If true, that's good. It puts more pressure on the BOT.

It would be ironic indeed if McGee's legacy was giving the push that was needed for an OCS.

I heard their report of the "former player and GA" too. That was rediculous.
