ULM at Bobcat Stadium sans Browning. I still haven't forgiven you guys.

While I like to agree with that notion, there's nothing to back that up.
I can understand a bowl thinking "taking a lower ranked team that we don't know what they will do, or roll the dice with a 'better' game and a higher ranked team, where we KNOW they won't travel well." Worst case scenario for the bowl would be inviting us, we don't travel well (no history to show we'd travel well to a nearby bowl), and the game stinks on television. I don't think it would happen, but we have nothing to say otherwise.
I don't like it, but I can understand it.

Plus it adds a more "national" viewing for TV. But it will be a bunch of green and empty seats.

Man, you spend so much time here, I figure you've GOTTA be fixated on us.
Little bit creepy, if I'm being honest.

I was on this site long before you. With the number of threads where CUSA or NT is mentioned the fixation seems to lie elsewhere.

I read somewhere the Bobcats played a really weak schedule.

I understand your line of thought, and at 6-6, we don't deserve a bowl anyway. However given some facts on the number of alumni living in the DFW area, our proximity to the bowl game itself and the fact that we have a large number of alumni in the Houston area which is also only a few hours away from the metroplex. 15,000 to a bowl game in the Dallas would be a conservative estimate.

Where did I say I was worried? I know we fell on our faces at the end of the season and missed our chance. Oh well. I doubt we wait over a decade to a make a bowl though.
