Are we not ranked higher , if so how would we be the underdogs ?

Two keys on defense are not giving them open threes and keeping them off the offensive boards. Florida is a very good 3-pt shooting team and rebounds it well too. Matching up on Prather and Finney-Smith is going to be tough.

On offense we have to make our open threes and get to the free throw line. If they are going to zone us then we have to either get there before they set it up on the press or get and make some open looks. Going to be a tough game for us.

Betting doesn't always consider the rankings of teams. Florida lost some games with players out and that will be considered. Florida will probably open about a 1 point favorite. I would expect that they will probably move to a 3 or 4 point favorite by game time.

This is the part that has me worried about this game...that and Floridas zone.

I wonder where we will both be ranked come tomorrow?

200 level near center court... I don't think they're that bad. Not floor level, but not nosebleeds. Got a pretty decent deal on StubHub.

We will probably move up one spot in the AP to 15. Kansas and Kentucky will probably drop down below us but Florida will probably jump us to 14 since they beat Kansas. We might stay at 16 though if we get jumped by North Carolina which is possible.

Florida is somewhat deliberate offensively and really does not rebound the ball great especially with the size they have. Hill and Finney-smith is the extent of the bench. However, with Hill back, Scottie Wilbekin playing with passion and Michael Frazier defense and 52% from behind the arc their back court will challenge. If The Tigers can take the 3 out the Gators will struggle.

Why would we be underdogs?

To win we must play inside out..if our mindset is to try and feed the low post as our 1st priority then we will do well and probably win..but if we play the jack up 3's game we will struggle and lose..we do not have good enough outside shooters to win against quality teams by relying on the 3 ball..working the ball inside then out gets you much better looks from outside anyway..

Of course we have enough good outside shooters. Dixon and Crawford have been fine, and King has made half of the 8 he has attempted. JJ and Geron started the season in a slump. Both are back on track now.

Playing on Friday was awesome. We got the kinks ironed out and should be great on Tuesday. Florida hasn't had many games with the same lineup and will go into our game with a full week off. Aside from playing on Friday; we also have a lot more depth.

I like our chances.
