Would we get Dawn as well?

Since USC went with Sarkisian for FBHC, does anyone think Ed Orgeron (sp?) might be interested if no BCS FBHC offers come his way?

There will be a lot of coaches on the FBHC "carousel" again this year as newly hired FBHCs hire new staffs and let others go. It may take weeks for the whole picture to come into focus at lower levels as to who will be available.

Mike Elko at Bowling Green would be worth a look. He knows how to stop opposing offenses on 3rd down. Something we could use lol. BG doesn't give up too many points either.

I'm just going out on a limb and saying the guy that got USC bowl eligible has no interest in being a DC at UAB. Just a guess. Maybe he's into that kind of thing.

Yea he is a top 3 recruiter in the country someone will pay him a lot more than we could to do just that.

I offered that as sort of "tongue in cheek" since he will probably wind up at a major school, but we do need to be patient since we don't have a lot of money to offer. He now has lost jobs at USC and Ole Miss so who knows?

I doubt he makes any changes.

You might wind up being right, but it may be because he can't hire who he wants rather than because he doesn't want to change staff. We will just have to wait for the rest of December to see. UAB is like Oliver Twist asking for "MORE".

not a chance. other than a few special appearances they have not been on tour since 1993 and Hopkins has a regular tv gig.
