Its been a long 2 years......those kids deserved this win!!!

I'm actually glad that we didn't break the un-streak at home. I would have been disgusted if we had stormed the field just because we ended the streak of suckage.

it is ironic that the losing streak was broken against the team that we weren't able to beat in 2011. or 2010. or 2009. & etc.

Great win USM. I think this is great for the conference as well. I suspect USM will be back to normal form in the next year it two. We need USM back and I believe this is the beginning. Sorry it had to be an in conference mate in UAB.

This might be it for our football team. The press is going to eat this up. Hopefully HCGM will resign after this season and we can get another coach here or HCGM will go down as the coach who ended UAB football.

Good job USM! I'm so excited about this. This team needed a win and finally got it. Hopefully this is just the beginning. So sorry that UAB had to lose though. Would've been better if it was a non-conference game.

Even though I was rooting for the vanquished, I am on the other hand, happy for you all that you don't have the burden of 2 winless seasons on your backs. Only team I'd like to see that happen to is alabama. But congratulations, anyway.
