It said something about a campaign being launched in January. So is it a fundraising campaign for another facility? Pressbox facility/ practice facility? I cant wait to find out.

Rebranding away from the purple pirates is desperately needed.

The re-brand is def tied to the AAC move next season. If you haven't noticed, most teams did a sharpening up of their image prior to the move last year.

Yep, definitely need to change colors and mascot. Might as well change the school name also because nobody knows if it's in North or South Carolina....and stupid people think it's an entirely different state.

I am no Carolina Pirate, but I can tell you that if they arent purple / gold or if they arent the pirates, then armegaddon is coming...

ECU Pirates just need retouching /sharpening up.

Honestly, if they do what every other carolina school does and just refer to themselves as "Carolina Pirates" I can see that fly, but NOT the removal of their entire identity...

I have never been to South Florida, or East Carolina - Schools that sound like states.

Side note: The Florida Tech Citronauts were cooler in my book than UCF Knights...

So rebranding that extremely isnt always smart.

They aren't going to change our colors and mascot nor should they. The new logo is a must.

Probably a mixture of 3, 4, and 8 with more black in there.

They need to keep the PSOM, JR and one "ECU" logo and drop the others. Then heavily brand them. Notice how schools like Ohio State, Miami, UNC, etc... they use one logo, not 10.

I think this will be a positive. The existing logos and color schemes are a bit garish and dated.

I just want the school to have one picture logo and one power letter logo. Maybe an interlocking EC.

The PSOM can stay because it's not used on any uniform.

PSOM, mixture of 3,4,8 with more black, and maybe a take on the baseball cap for the script?

I love the logo of the pirate in the shape of the State of NC. That looks so good at midfield that NCSU completely stole it from you!

That being said - I bet you could change the look of the "ECU" block letters logo. That looks a bit out of date. But never change the colors or the jolly roger. Never.
