Please, don't ever fire Jackie! Give him a lifetime contract. Go for 3-10 next year - that's right, you won't play but 12 games, since you aren't bowl eligable with 3 wins.

Nobody wants to be the first/next person to lose to Jackie. After the UK game I listened to the postgame he does with Jack Crystal. One caller chimed in and said "Well, Coach. You are the coach of our special teams. Considering the horrible job we did today in that catergory, what does that say about your coaching ability?" The caller was immediately cut off and Jackie covered himself with "Well, I only coach the kicker and punter. Someone else coaches the actual special teams."
I bet if they had done something spectacularly good, he would have taken credit for coaching them. I wish i knew who the caller was. I send them a "cold one".

You're too kind Still. I know you don't go for hoops, but you definitely need to come hang with my group for baseball this year. We set up for Sunday games (and sometimes Saturday games) in the left field lounge.
As for 10, yep...good guy indeed. Although we don't talk much when we go to Hooters...mainly because we are enjoying the scenery.

I would enjoy that. The only problem I have is getting to a game. I love baseball and so do my boys, therein lies the problem. They both play for our high school baseball team and they have so many games. Surely I can find a couple of dates where there is no conflict.
The last fraternity 'little brother' that I had, his son is the Ole Miss 2nd baseman. I think Matt is a Junior this year. I understand we had a real good year in recruiting and with the veterans we have we should be even better than last year. Hopefully we will not fade like we did last year. I've tried to get to games for the last couple of years but haven't yet, but I will make it a point to get there some this year.

Yeah, I like my usual seats in the grandstands, but when we cookout and drink out in left field on a beautiful day, there is nothing like it. I'm already looking forward to baseball season. I'm sure you'll be able to catch one of the Sunday games though. That's when we usually do it.
