I think I pissed myself.
Saint Jackie is on a mission at Msu (that is the way that dork typed in their name). That 'wonderful' man that wants no credit, that great 'father figure' is on a mission to win "4" games next year. If he beats Ole Miss, he will settle for 2 wins. Us and anybody else.
That shows how bad MSU has been in the past. Jackie has gotten them to more bowl games than ALL the previous coaches combined. How sad. Ole Miss has won more bowl games than they (MSU) has played in.
The guy I work for is a MSU alum. He said MSU has 6 commitments that are "the best" players in their position in the state. He said that they liked the way the program was headed and wanted to be a part of it. Apparently WINNING is not one of their priorities.

I frequent Genespage to see the rumblings that is going on, and to keep up to date on the coaching situation. just having a good laugh at your school's expense. you know, sort of like the whole article that is on genespage. no need to get your lace in a wad dawg

yea, i caught that dawg, and edited my post. been sitting at this computer for about 8 hours working, and you know how things start to run together. i agree that it's a joke, but some good friends of mine post there, so i like to see what they have to say. the reason i posted the second link is to hear some of the good flames that my Rebel brethren can come up with.

Hugh is a good guy (I think Lynne can attest to that), but he's definitely a homer. He's one of those that resides on "Fantasy Island."
On the second link...
If the guy would change "why Ole Miss sucks" to "why SOME Ole Miss fans suck," I'd agree with a few of his points. I could also make a list "why SOME MSU fans suck" as well.
Basically, Genespage has become State's equivilant to the Rebel Vent. Anything trashing a rival is allowed (true or untrue). Anything not positive about MSU is deleted. There's not much to be positive about when your team goes 3-9.
I hear ya man, and the reason I tried not to be an obnoxious a-hole when you said something about my post is because I respect the way you post on the board. My sister married a state fan, and I respect him, so.....2 out of a fan base of what??? 100,000...aint too bad eh? :D you certainly project a positive image on state

The Ole Miss fans that post here aren't too bad either. Most dislike State and Sherrill but aren't nasty about it like other boards. I can handle that.
My only complaint about you guys is that Lynne has you all *****-whipped.

omg Cass...I just realized that was Hugh....didn't have a clue until you typed that. I got so bored with it that I quit reading it after about a paragraph or maybe I would have figured it out. Hugh can be an okay guy...but he is one of the biggest MSU homers I've ever talked to. My dad can't pull up that much MSU bs when he's trying his hardest to give me crap. Saying Hugh is on Fantasy Island is downplaying his homerism. Hugh (although I'm not so sure went to MSU) believes that the place is the Garden of Eden brought back to all of us and that Jackie Sherill is while maybe not Jesus....at the very least John the Baptist.
