Welcome to the NCAA with NIL. Transfer portal will be huge every year. Top players from low and mid majors will be looking for better pay.

Not sure where Larson and Branson figure to end up. I don't see them going to a better conference. Had a feeling Larson might bolt as his playing time decreased as the season went on. He has a good 3pt stroke, but doesn't bring much else.

Not huge losses at this point. Not sure where they think they are going to go

Gavyn Elkamil also in portal. Also, not a great loss.

Does anyone know if Earley still has eligibility? Verbal commits shows him having another year. It also shows Aquan Smart having another year. Aquan is not showing being in the portal but his twitter no longer says SEMO Basketball so I am assuming he is just done. Would like to see an updated roster of who we think will be here next year.

This could really help us if the coaching staff steps up. We have pretty good guards and wing players we just need a couple of impact big men.

Aquan Smart is in the portal now too

Can these players enter the portal every year if they want to?

I am pretty sure they got rid of the rule where you have to sit out if it is your 2nd transfer so it seems to be a free for all at this point

1st team all-OVC Jeremiah Hernandez from USI is in the portal.

There were 15 players that were on the all-OVC 1st & 2nd team this past season. Only 2 of them are still in the OVC for next season, as of today.

So the conference is wide open really.

Agreed but if they have ANY success we just have to accept they'll almost assuredly only be at SEMO for one year. Ugh!

Only 1 now, Jordan Sears from Martin entered the portal.

Conference is very much wide open depending on who everyone signs.
