Was an assistant coach for Utah State last year and was just hired to be as assistant at Texas A&M.

The bad news is media is going to drag all his pictures from his time here up. He was the freaking team rep for media days a few years back.

He was a beast at stAte. Just awful for his girlfriend and unborn child.

Sort of wild it took a year to get him arrested.
If he is guilty I hope Tenn has the death penalty....he killed a child.

They do. And it’s definitely premeditated.

Pounce FTW showed great wisdom in correcting a momentary lapse of judgment. Well done, man.
Terrible. Hate it for the young lady and her family. From what I could tell, there were things going on that made them not trust Blaise Taylor after this happened. It's possible they were on to something.

Y'know, a big thing I've come to accept as I've gotten older is that I genuinely do not know what history other people are bringing into their interpretations of things I say or write. Which means that (1) I am going to offend people without meaning to, and (2) there's only a tiny subset of those cases that are improved by anything more than a "my bad."
I guess innocent until proven guilty but all indications are that there is something to be investigated here. He was an incredible player here and an over achiever on the academic front. Too much pressure?

If he did what he has been arrested for no excuse like pressure got to him. Put that crap away!
He was everything we want college athletics to be. A high football IQ kid who was a bit undersized and a step slower than you hope yet was an effective player. He didn't redshirt but thanks to AP courses and summer school was working on second masters his senior playing season. Had set up his own charity program with his sister.

Nice, polite, respectful in interviews. I think in four seasons drew one flag for a personal foul or unsportsmanlike conduct.

Just shocking.

Based on news reports it seems the state has evidence of incriminating search history on his computer or tablet, has incriminating conversations obtained by wiretap, and other physical evidence. It doesn't look good.

The victim was apparently developing a good reputation in the Nashville culinary world and was regarded as a rising star. She was a high achiever.

This is an absolutely horrible tragedy.

Guy is going to be famous. This is exactly the sort of scenario that gets the attention of Dateline, a podcaster or two, and people making streaming four part crime documentaries.

As I've said elsewhere. We are just people slowing down to gawk. The victim's family has been irreparably hurt, Taylor's family harmed as well. There's just pain and tragedy. Only thing profitable we can do is pray for peace and justice for all involved and connected to this.

More like collateral damage, at worst. It's bad news but not the bad news.
